As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program
of PT Paramita Bangun Sarana Tbk (PBS) and the commemoration of the 33rd
anniversary of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Department at
Universitas Indonesia, PBS, together with Universitas Indonesia, organized a
social service activity, first aid awareness session, and education on Clean
and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) for several orphanages in the Depok area.
This activity aimed to increase the knowledge and awareness of orphanage children
about the importance of maintaining health, environmental cleanliness, and
basic skills in providing first aid during emergency situations.
Through this activity, participants received interactive
education on daily healthy living practices, such as maintaining personal
hygiene, following a nutritious diet, and developing proper handwashing habits.
In addition, the teams from Universitas Indonesia and PBS also provided basic
first aid training delivered in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner,
enabling the children to be better prepared to handle minor emergency
situations in their surroundings.
This activity reflects PBS’s strong commitment to supporting
social development and improving the quality of life of the community,
particularly the younger generation. The collaboration between industry and
academia is expected not only to provide direct benefits to the beneficiaries,
but also to instill the values of social care, health, and safety from an early
age. Through the spirit of sharing and community service, this activity is
expected to create a sustainable positive impact for the children in the
orphanages and their surrounding communities.
